Finished, blocked, and ready to mount...

Here is a detail shot of the "August" tapestry. I have trimmed the ends, sewn slits, and blocked it. It just has to now be mounted on the stretcher frame to be ready to hang. I am loving the finishing process on these smaller tapestries! The calendar tapestries are each about 18"x18". They finish up much quicker than my 'regular' sized 3'x4-5' pieces!

You can see the whole tapestry, plus the other completed calendar tapestries on my website, here.

Oh gosh they are all beautiful and nice to see them all together. I love Booker, it is amazing to me that you got so much detail and movement and life in it. He's such a handsome muse too! Was he helpful in the finishing?

The calendar pieces are beautiful. I too love seeing them altogether. I love both the winter ones too.

The tapestry is beautiful! And Booker sure looks like he's having a great time. Your calendar series is really lovely. Inspiring.

Thanks for your kind comment on my blog, btw. Hopefully I'll get my beans blocked this weekend!
