A bit of Zentangle to quiet a noisy mind...

One of the things I discovered from doing #Inktober this past fall was that abandoning color is sometimes a very good thing to do, especially if I am working with vibrant colors elsewhere, as I am in my weaving right now.

1.15.2014 on the East Coast I started doing Zentangle art over a year ago when immersed in healing a toe osteo. It was my 30 minutes a day of mind click off to forget my medical challenges. Totally worked!
Surprising how many different designs your black pen emits when just focusing on filling spaces and strings of blank squares. I like the juxtaposition of the quote you worked in. I still like black and white Zentangle the best altho I have also done colors.from Janet K who still likes your dog tapestries the best...

Thanks, Janet. I also prefer just inked Zentangle over the ones with color. I think black and white makes them more distinctive; different from other art forms.
