Kathy, I admire all of your work but I really enjoy this piece, the blue tapestry. I love the meticulous technique applied to a wild and scumbly thing, an almost formless motion. It's hypnotic, like the waves themselves. At the same time it reminds me a little of the more abstract Provencal fabric patterns -- and I suppose those are descendants of the tapestries you admired in the Louvre.
Also, Sacre Bleu by Christopher Moore is a fun read.

Hi Kathy, Really enjoyed seeing your waves. It also reminds me of Japanese Ukioy-e prints which I have always liked.

Love your breaking waves. So much motion and light. Sorry they won't be in the STI3.
I just love the theme - and the variety of images.
