Missing, presumed stolen...

I just got word from a gallery that carries my work in North Carolina, that this tapestry has gone missing, and is presumed to be stolen. I hope they are wrong, and that they will find it. But if anyone happens to see it anywhere (not in a NC gallery), PLEASE, would you let me know about it ASAP?!!

I feel quite violated. And sad. In fact, I think I will go cry now.
Or scream...

Kathy, how devastating! Galleries seem to loose art works or have them "stolen" " lost " seems to be a word they use here quite a bit. Marilyn had a large tapestry stolen last year. You weave your life into your beautiful tapestries and I hope that it comes back to you soon. Debbie.

I'm so sorry, Kathy! Hopefully it will show up soon. My mom actually does research on medieval tapestries and it is amazing how many of them have been stolen somewhere along the way. I guess stealing tapestries is nothing new, but it's such a tragedy. Best of luck!

Oh, Kathy! I am so very sorry this has happened to you. I know all of our tapestries are important to us, but I remember that this one was very special to you.

I will hope for the best. It is an awful feeling that I wish you weren't experiencing. My heart & thoughts are with you.

Kathy, I am so sorry...I sometimes just sit back in amazement and wonder, whatever are they thinking? What is the point? I know, all questions with no real answers. I am saddened by your loss. And we are all violated by this, as we are all vulnerable to this type loss. I hope, as I know you do, that it shows up. Thoughts and prayers are with you...

Hi Kathy,
So sorry to hear about the theft of your tapestry. I hope it turns up. What is the gallery doing about it?

String Theory

Ok, I don’t know anything about string theory, except maybe what I see on The Big Bang. But there is an excellent fiber exhibit right now ...
