Illustration Friday: Impatience
For this weeks IF topic, "Impatience," I did a digital drawing of Booker, using Painter. It was pretty fun, and the furry brush was perfect for his furriness! He is now always impatient to be doing and finding new things, and we are impatient for him to learn the ways of a 'good dog,' which he actually is doing, though sometimes not quickly enough for his impatient humans.

Gosh, what a superb illustration! I had to get a close up view when I read that you'd done it in Painter!
Lovely eyes! He looks like a snow dog.
Great idea, makes me smile, my dogs get a bit impatient too if we are taking too long to get ready for a walk, they do a friendly growl at us to hurry up :) Nice technique too, i like how you have the brown paper peeping throw the illustration.
Booker is precious - all your work will pay off and you'll have YEARS of enjoying it!
The leash leading off the picture plane really makes this a great illustration...you know that he's impatient for walkies! Lovely job.
Thank you all for your encouraging comments! It has made me want to do more with Painter - when I get some time.
