I echo your sentiments, Kathy! This is a very happy morning for this Georgia native who remembers the sad days of separate bathrooms for whites and coloreds, who grew up in a rural county in which no black person lived, and who didn't have an occasion to talk to a person of color until college. This wonderful national embrace of this articulate and gifted man, as well as his beautiful family, gives me renewed hope for the spirit and potential of our country.
